Story 4 - The Lazy Gardener
I love plants.
I am a terrific gardener.
I take care of my plants every day.
I water them.
I put them in the sun.
I trim them.
There are many flowers on our veranda, too.
I take very good care of the flowers.
They grow very fast.
They are beautiful!
The flowers smell very good.
There are many bees that visit our veranda.
The bees come to drink the sweet juices from the flowers.
My husband doesn’t know how to take care of plants very well.
When he takes care of the plants and flowers, they die.
He is lazy.
He forgets to water them.
He forgets to put them in the sun.
He forgets about them.
So, he doesn’t have plants or flowers.
He has two small cactuses.
He takes care of them.
It is very easy to take care of cactuses.
He leaves them in the sun all day.
He only waters them once a month.
They are very happy!
