Story 3 - BLACKOUT!
It was raining last night.
It was raining very hard.
It was also very windy outside.
I could hear the wind blowing.
I was watching my favorite series on Netflix.
Suddenly, the lights went out!
There was a blackout!
It was very dark in my house.
The TV did not work.
The refrigerator did not work.
The microwave didn’t work.
I could not charge my cell phone.
None of the electrical devices worked!
I had an idea!
It was very dark in my house, but I had candles.
I could light a candle.
Then I would be able to see better.
I couldn’t watch TV, but I could read a book.
I had a book that I wanted to read.
I thought I would light some candles and read my book.
I was about to light a candle when suddenly…
The lights came on again!
Yay! I could continue watching my favorite series on Netflix again!
Oh, no! Not another blackout!
